Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network related issues, both hardware and software, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Layer 2 & Layer 3 Support: Provide troubleshooting support for routing and switching environments.
- UTM Firewall Management: Work with UTM firewalls to update security and traffic polices, debug traffic flows and firewall rules.
- Network Configuration Design and Validation:
Review and validate network configurations to ensure they align with company standards and best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize network monitoring tools to validate the health and performance of all network systems.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate network documentation, including configurations and diagrams to accurately depict steady state information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, vendors and customers located throughout the world.
- Incident Response: Act as a point of contact for resolving network related incidents and outages. (There is no requirement for on call support)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Certifications: At least CCNA(Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent certification. Certifications in security, OS, and automation are a plus.
