Backend Developer -- Global Customized Solutions
As a Backend Developer , you'll design and build tailored software integrations that connect third-party systems with SKIDATA products. You'll independently own integration projects, from technical design through implementation, testing and documentation, while working as part of the global GCS team. Alongside your development work, you'll support colleagues across regions and contribute to shared coding, architecture and engineering practices.
Build custom integrations --- design, develop, test and document backend solutions connecting third-party systems with SKIDATA products.
Develop in C#/.NET --- build reliable solutions primarily using .NET.
Contribute to engineering practices --- support the implementation of coding standards, architecture guidelines and reusable frameworks, and contribute to practices such as CI/CD and AI-assisted development.
Support colleagues across regions --- assist regional developers and contribute to code reviews, technical mentoring and consistent quality.
Professional backend experience --- at least 3-5 years of professional experience developing and maintaining backend applications in C# / .NET, with the ability to work independently after onboarding.
Software development experience --- with databases and software design, with exposure to Java or web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript being a plus.




Modern development practices --- familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps, an understanding of secure coding, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
Business-fluent English and Spanish are required, as both languages are used regularly in day-to-day collaboration.
