? We are looking for a Deputy Asset Manager to join a leading renewable energy generation multinational group. The adecuado candidate will support the Asset Management team in the overall management of a wind farm portfolio, overseeing operational performance, contractual compliance, and the financial performance of the assets!
✅Functions & Responsibilities:
- Support the Asset Manager in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of wind farms, ensuring operational, contractual, commercial and financial performance targets are achieved. Prepare periodic asset management reports.
- Monitor operational performance of the assets, including availability, production, incidents, production losses and key technical KPIs. Monitor energy sales performance, PPA obligations, settlement processes and forecasting deviations.
- Coordinate with O&M; contractors and other service providers, tracking performance against contractual obligations, KPIs and SLAs.
- Administer O&M; agreements and support contract renewals, amendments, negotiations and compliance monitoring. Manage contractor performance reviews, claims processes, warranty follow-up and corrective action plans. Maintain contract compliance registers and ensure timely tracking of contractual obligations.
- Manage land lease agreements and coordinate required communications with landowners and external stakeholders.
- Support insurance policy administration and coordinate claim management processes with insurers and brokers.
- Review and validate operational invoices, monitor operating expenditures and support budget preparation and cost control activities.
- Perform monthly operating cost analysis and support revenue reconciliation processes. Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, increase revenues and reduce operational costs.
- Support compliance with HSE requirements, audits, inspections and corrective action tracking.
- Support strategic asset optimization initiatives, including lifetime extension, repowering, hybridization and other value enhancement projects.
? Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Electrical, Mining or similar), Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines..
- At least 5 years of experience in Asset Management, Renewable Energy Operations.
- Advanced to Intermediate English language proficiency (B2-C1), Native Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2), both written and verbal.
?Additional Points:
- Master's Degree in Energy Management, Renewable Energy, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent is highly valued.
- 10 years of experience will be a plus.
- Experience managing renewable energy assets (mainly wind projects).
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing budgets, business plans, financial models and performance reporting.
- Experience in contract management and stakeholder management, including investors, lenders, partners and service providers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of autonomy and ownership.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills are valued.
