Role Description The Director at Popcorn IA will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across key business and product initiatives. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area and involves collaborating closely with executive leadership, product, engineering, and business development teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include defining long-term vision and goals, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring alignment between strategy, resources, and execution. The Director will oversee budgets, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and team structures. This role also includes mentoring team members,



representing the organization with partners and stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with organizational values.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects or programs.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, set priorities, and translate vision into measurable outcomes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Experience in technology, data, or AI-driven environments, with an understanding of product development and innovation processes.
- Solid business acumen, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area, with a hands-on approach to mentoring and team development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or Catalan is a strong plus.
