ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrable experience with the technology in question or a similar technology
- Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with technical/engineering background or equivalent through experience with ICT technology for which expertise is
- Working within the Operations department, more specifically in the operational security team.
- If necessary, you are mobile and move to other Client branches.(sporadically max 1x per month)

- Every day we are confronted with cyber reports and incidents: phishing messages, malware detection on devices,
- violations of regulations, etc. Client as a company wishes to respond appropriately to these attacks. As a Security Incident Response Expert, you are responsible for handling these reports and incidents. In addition, you will take on operational tasks related to cybersecurity and risk management. You will work as a Security Incident Response Expert in Client' Cyberops team, more specifically in the incident response team that deals with the handling of reported security incidents. In addition, you will also participate in the follow-up of vulnerabilities and the management of digital security risks, with the emphasis on the proactive aspect and the prevention of incidents. You will be in close contact with our internal helpline, our SOC and the operational ICT teams and suppliers.
- You support the 1st, 2nd and 3rd line during the security incident handling and coordinate these incidents on the basis of predefined procedures. In addition, you take on 2nd line tasks yourself in this operation.
- You will be responsible for the quality with which you apply
- the incident response process
- You will optimize the operation between the various stakeholders in this process, mainly the ICT call center, the SOC, IT service providers, your colleagues within the Systems and Operations department and the applications department.
- You handle the various incidents with the necessary confidentiality
- You take care of the reporting regarding the security incidents
- You ensure the escalation of serious cyber incidents to the CSIRT, acting as a point of contact for the customer and SOC, and you help coordinate the correct handling of the incident.
- You are responsible for the security-related approvals in the RFF process
- You participate in the registration, follow-up and mitigation of security risks
- You propagate the Client information security mission and philosophy every day, and encourage your colleagues and suppliers to follow these principles.
- You will participate in the conversion of security guidelines and policies into operational procedures and work instructions.
SKILLS
- Proven experience as a SOC analyst
- Demonstrable experience within a similar technology
- Demonstrable experience with the MISP platform
- Proven experience with vulnerability management
- Demonstrable technical knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux Servers
- Demonstrable technical knowledge and experience with Crowdstrike
- Demonstrable technical knowledge with Tenable
- Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with technical/engineering background or equivalent through experience with ICT technology for which expertise is required
- Candidate has obtained a CCNA certificate and uploads this document here
- Candidate has completed a specific education/training as a SOC Analyst
- Candidate has an Azure network fundamentals certificate
- Candidate has experience with Jira
