Position Overview
The Assistant Community Manager will work closely with the Community Manager, and team to deliver a best-in-class resident experience whilst ensuring compliance and strong returns for investors. This role covers all aspects of day-to-day management within BTR.
Key Role Responsibilities
Acts as a role model at all times by demonstrating the core values.
Ensure high resident satisfaction by handling queries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
Manage tenancies, including inspections, lease compliance, rent collection, arrears management, and tenancy renewals.
Support revenue growth through resident retention and additional services.
Work with maintenance teams to maintain property standards and prepare show apartments.
Build strong relationships with investors and provide timely property performance updates.
Monitor operational and financial performance and resolve issues affecting leasing and occupancy.
Support or cover Community Manager duties when required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations.
Engage with residents regularly and organize community events and activities.
Knowledge and Qualifications
Good general education and strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with property management software and operational management, including budgets and P&L.;
Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and numerical skills.
Effective communicator with fluent written and spoken English.
Team player who can also work independently and take ownership.
Adaptable, culturally aware, and able to build strong stakeholder relationships.
Flexible and thrives in fast-paced, changing environments.
