I'm currently partnering with a general manufacturing organisation to recruit a Business Controller for their finance team based in Madrid.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an international business with operations across multiple continents, working within a collaborative Group Finance function where you'll play a key role in financial planning, reporting and business performance.

Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll help deliver high-quality financial insight that supports strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Responsibilities

-

- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.

- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities.

- Perform variance analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.

- Monitor business performance and provide meaningful financial insights to stakeholders.

- Support CAPEX reporting and investment analysis.

- Assist with financial consolidation and reporting processes.

- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and controls.

- Support audit activities and ensure compliance with internal policies.





What we're looking for

-

- 3–7 years' experience in Business Controlling, FP&A;, Finance Business Partnering or Management Reporting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working within an international or multinational organisation.

- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

- Experience with finance systems such as OneStream, SAP, Oracle, SAP BFC or similar EPM/ERP platforms would be highly advantageous.

- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is beneficial.

- Fluent English is essential. Spanish is highly desirable, with French considered an advantage.
