Act as a strategic finance partner for the Iberia Zone Solution Center (ZSC), owning a broad portfolio that spans project controlling, end‑to‑end financial processes, compliance and continuous improvement.
This role combines strong financial acumen, advanced analytical capabilities and the ability to act as a true business partner to operational teams. The Project Business Finance Controller plays a central role in safeguarding the integrity of financial processes, steering Sub‑P&L; performance, automating and simplifying reporting, and ensuring robust governance and compliance.
What will you do?
Project Controlling
- Lead end‑to‑end project controlling for strategic and high‑impact deals.
- Provide oversight and financial assurance on the total portfolio, ensuring early detection of deviations, risks, and opportunities without full hands‑on controlling.
- Actively participate in project reviews, ensuring transparency on project performance, risks, contingencies, and opportunities.
- Own the preparation and validation of forecasts (Project Forecast at Completion, Monthly Pacing, Rolling Forecast) for strategic deals.
- Provide actionable financial insights that translate into concrete operational decisions to improve margins and cash generation.
Sub‑P&L; Ownership & Performance Management
- Act as the finance owner for a Sub‑P&L;, with accountability for topline, gross margin, and overhead absorption.
- Own provisions, ensuring accuracy, adequate coverage, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Monitor and enhance key performance metrics across product lines: productivity, cost deviations, cash, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting for the Sub‑P&L; scope.
- Lead monthly closing activities, ensuring strong financial discipline.
Financial Processes & Operations Leadership
- Lead the ZSC's core financial operations, owning the reliability and efficiency of upstream, multi‑product financial processes, including warranty management.
- Ensure financial processes are standardized, well‑controlled, and scalable.
- Identify and implement digitalization and simplification opportunities across core financial workflows.
- Act as a reliable point of reference for cross‑functional teams on financial process matters.
- Support broader finance transformation initiatives, with focus on data quality and automation.
Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
- Act as the compliance lead for the ZSC, owning the internal control framework.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and timely resolution of findings.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies,
and corporate governance frameworks.
- Promote compliance with project, accounting, and financial processes at all times.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and good level of English.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, controlling or an equivalent position.
