What you'll do

- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement embedded software for various applications within the aerospace and defense industries.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain software documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging of embedded software to ensure functionality and performance meet specified requirements.
- Assist in the integration of software with hardware components, ensuring seamless operation of embedded systems.
- Utilize version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely solutions to enhance system performance.




- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems and software engineering, applying new knowledge to ongoing projects.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and innovative solutions.
- Support the preparation of technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and project managers, to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems concepts and software development principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with real‑time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development tools.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
- Basic knowledge of hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal,

- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.

Nice to have

- Previous internship or project experience in embedded software development.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development practices.
