What you'll do

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions to support various applications and services.
- Collaborate with software development teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable and secure systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard our platforms.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our platform capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in platform engineering.
- Engage in incident response activities and participate in on-call rotations as needed.




- Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that enhance team productivity and collaboration.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

Nice to have

- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
- Previous experience in a DevOps role or with site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to cloud environments.
