About the role

Parser is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Spain. This role is adecuado for an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about developing innovative software solutions. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our users.

What you’ll do

- Design and develop scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies, primarily focusing on Python for back-end development and React for front-end interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and establish timelines for deliverables.
- Implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, employing best practices in coding and architecture.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into the development process.
- Mentor junior engineers,



providing guidance and support to help them grow their technical skills and advance their careers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure effective project management and team collaboration.
- Document development processes, code changes, and system architecture to maintain clear communication and facilitate onboarding of new team members.
- Engage with users to gather feedback and insights, using this information to inform future development and improve product offerings.
- Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the engineering team, helping to shape the technical roadmap and vision of Parser.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on Python and React.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience with data modeling and query optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience working in collaborative environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills,



with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and a passion for iterative development processes.
- A portfolio or examples of previous work that demonstrate your capabilities and experience in full-stack development.

Nice to have

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in deploying and managing applications.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to enhance development efficiency.
- Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-paced tech company, showcasing adaptability and initiative.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience working closely with designers to create user-friendly interfaces.

Skills & tools

- Proficient in Python, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Django or Flask for back-end development.
- Experience with front-end libraries and tools like Redux or Webpack.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, including unit testing and integration testing.
- Understanding of security best practices in web application development.
