What you'll do

- Lead and supervise the construction activities of water treatment plants, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage subcontractors and labor resources effectively to optimize productivity and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams, to ensure project alignment and resolve any issues that arise.
- Review and approve project documentation, including plans, specifications, and change orders, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Implement best practices for safety and environmental management,



promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and clients, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions.
- Mentor and train junior staff and field personnel, fostering professional development and enhancing team capabilities.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, reports, and financial documentation, to support project accountability.
- Participate in post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in future projects.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, specifically in water treatment or related infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes, technologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, with a solid understanding of construction scheduling and budgeting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various audiences.




- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry, particularly in water treatment facilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project demands and priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience with sustainable construction practices and technologies in water treatment.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations governing water treatment facilities.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar credential.
- Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, to enhance communication with diverse teams and communities.
