What you'll do

- Design and implement robust automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process across various applications.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure clarity and reproducibility.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and guiding them in their professional development.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in QA automation and software testing to continuously improve our processes.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless deployment of high-quality software.
- Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
- Engage in troubleshooting and debugging of automated test failures, ensuring a quick turnaround on issues.
- Contribute to the development of testing strategies that align with the overall product roadmap and business objectives.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a solid understanding of software development principles.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.




- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Nice to have

- Experience with cloud-based testing environments and tools.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
- Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
