What you'll do

- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software specifications and requirements to ensure thorough coverage of all functionalities.
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate software performance, functionality, and security across various platforms and devices.
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with the development team.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to provide input on testability and quality aspects of software features.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and potential risks.




- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance testing processes and practices.
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Assist in the creation of user documentation and training materials to support end-users in utilizing software products effectively.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure alignment with team goals and objectives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,



to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
