Job Title

DCS Control System Engineer Intern

Essential Responsibilities

- Support in SCADA system configuration (screens, equipment integration, communication protocols, Digital/analog signals, events, alarms).
- Support communication network architecture design and configure communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, OPC, EGD, 104).
- Collaborate in the configuration of protection and control equipment at the communications level.
- Support in project management (internal validation tests, FAT tests,



documentation review, client contact).
- Coordinate with different departments (manufacturing, services, tendering).

Qualifications / Requirements

- High level of Spanish and English (oral level essential). Valuable French.
- Knowledge of communications, systems, networks.
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
- Full‑time presence work at the Bilbao office is required.
- Non‑national candidates must have the necessary documentation (NIE, Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account) at the time of start. GE will not sponsor these requirements.
