ph3Job Purpose: /h3pThe Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform raw data into meaningful insights. This role partners with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and data models that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. /ph3Responsibilities: /h3ulliDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models aligned with business requirements. /liliGather, analyze, and translate business needs into technical BI solutions. /liliBuild efficient data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query (M). /liliConnect, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL databases, data warehouses APIs, Excel, cloud platforms). /liliOptimize report performance, data refresh schedules, and model efficiency. /liliEnsure data accuracy, consistency, security, and governance across BI solutions. /liliImplement row-level security (RLS) and follow best practices for access control. /liliCollaborate with data engineers on data pipelines, data quality, and warehouse design. /liliProvide documentation, training, and support to end users. /liliStay current with Power BI features, industry trends, and BI best practices. /li /ulh3Knowledge: /h3ulliStrong understanding of business intelligence concepts, data warehousing, and analytics. /liliIn-depth knowledge of Power BI architecture, including datasets, reports, dashboards, and workspaces. /liliSolid understanding of relational databases, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling principles. /liliKnowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.



/liliFamiliarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, SnowFlake or similar). /li /ulh3Skills: /h3ulliPower BI development skills. /liliProficiency in DAX for measures, calculations, and time intelligence. /liliStrong Power Query (M) skills for data transformation. /liliSQL querying and performance optimization skills. /liliAbility to design intuitive, user-friendly data visualizations. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliEffective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /liliAttention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. /liliAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. /liliStrongly analytical and numerate; /liliLateral thinker/problem solver; /liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; /liliAbility to work in a team environment and build effective relationships; /liliAbility to convert complex information into executable strategy; /liliSelf-motivated; /liliAdvanced Microsoft Office skills required /li /ulh3Experience: /h3ulli2+ years of experience in Power BI development or a similar BI/analytics role. /liliHands-on experience building end-to-end BI solutions (data ingestion to visualization). /liliExperience working with large datasets and complex data models.
