ph3Rail Systems Integration Engineer /h3 h3About the Opportunity /h3 pWe are currently recruiting for aRail Systems Integration Engineeron behalf of a leading organisation delivering one of the UK's most significant rail infrastructure programmes. /p pThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a pivotal role in coordinating rail systems integration activities across multiple disciplines, ensuring seamless delivery from design through to construction and handover. /p pWorking within a highly collaborative environment, you will be responsible for managing critical interfaces between railway systems, civil works, stations, contractors, designers and client stakeholders. /p h3The Role /h3 pAs a Rail Systems Integration Engineer, you will support the successful integration of complex railway systems by managing technical interfaces, assurance activities and stakeholder coordination across the project lifecycle. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Systems Integration Interface Management /h3 ul liSupport the implementation and maintenance of the project's Interface Management Plan. /li liManage railway systems integration activities from design through to construction and commissioning. /li liDevelop and maintain Functional Specifications, Architecture Specifications and Interface Control Documents (ICDs). /li liEnsure consistency and alignment across multiple rail systems and disciplines. /li liSupport the delivery of reliability, safety, interoperability and security assurance activities. /li liCoordinate design interfaces between rail systems, civil works, stations and third-party stakeholders. /li /ul h3Programme Design Coordination /h3 ul liWork closely with the design supply chain to ensure compliant and efficient delivery of design outputs. /li liCoordinate multidisciplinary design activities in line with project programmes and budget requirements. /li liCollaborate with assurance, construction, logistics and delivery teams to resolve interface-related challenges.



/li liChair and facilitate systems integration and design coordination meetings. /li liSupport change management, risk identification and opportunity management activities. /li liProvide technical input to commercial and contractual matters where required. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Engagement /h3 ul liBuild strong working relationships with clients, contractors, designers and internal project teams. /li liSupport interface resolution and technical decision-making across the programme. /li liAct as a key link between design and construction teams to ensure successful delivery. /li /ul h3About You /h3 h3Essential Requirements /h3 ul liDegree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline. /li liExperience working on large, multidisciplinary rail infrastructure projects. /li liProven background in systems integration, design coordination and interface management. /li liKnowledge of railway systems, operational requirements and integration processes. /li liExperience preparing and managing technical assurance documentation. /li /ul h3Desirable /h3 ul liChartered status (or working towards chartership) with a recognised professional institution. /li liKnowledge of: /li liRAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) /li liRailway System Safety /li liInteroperability requirements /li liSecurity Management /li liRelevant rail industry regulations and standards, including CDM, CSM and RIR /li /ul h3Personal Attributes /h3 ul liStrong communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liCollaborative and proactive approach. /li liStrong problem-solving and organisational abilities. /li liAble to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. /li liMotivated and enthusiastic team player. /li /ul h3What's on Offer? /h3 ul liOpportunity to contribute to a nationally significant rail infrastructure project. /li liExposure to complex, multidisciplinary engineering challenges. /li liLong-term career development and progression opportunities. /li liCollaborative and supportive project environment. /li liCompetitive salary and benefits package. /li liHybrid working arrangements. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
