Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead the monthly and quarterly close and own the validation of financial data from Deel’s internal finance integrations. You will design and QA accounting figures, ensure US GAAP compliance, and partner with engineering and product to translate product features into accurate accounting. You’ll drive automation, close gaps in data capture, and maintain strong controls across multi-currency, multi-entity transactions. This is a rare chance to shape Deel’s financial infrastructure at scale.

• Lead monthly and quarterly close and validate integration-derived financial line items
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis tied to integration events
• Prepare, review and support external audit processes related to integration outputs
• Own design, validation, and QA of financial figures from Deel's internal finance integration platform
• Define accounting logic to ensure GAAP compliance before go-live
• Partner with engineering and product to ensure financial events feed correctly into the ledger
• Identify data gaps, drive cross-functional solutions to reduce manual reconciliation and increase automation
• Maintain integrity of the relationship between the integration layer and downstream reporting




• Translate product features into accounting entries and validate real-time reporting outputs
• Collaborate with data analytics to build scalable data pipelines and monitoring for integration health
• Apply US GAAP to complex transactions including multi-currency/multi-entity flows
• Support the Technical Accounting team in documenting positions for new product launches and complex arrangements
• Embed internal controls into integration design and QA processes

Responsabilidades
• CPA designation is a must
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and applying it to complex transaction environments
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth technology or fintech
• Experience with multi-currency transactions, cross-border payments, and multi-entity consolidation
• Technical orientation and ability to translate system architecture into accounting outcomes
• Proven experience partnering with engineering/product to design financial systems and classify transactions
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure from ambiguity
