Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead remediation across integral travel portfolios with an initial focus on the UK market. You’ll perform deep-dive performance analysis to identify drivers of deterioration and implement corrective actions to maintain rate adequacy and sustainable profitability. You will partner with Pricing, Actuarial, Claims, and Distribution to align remediation with the Travel Line of Business strategy, ensuring technical soundness and commercial relevance within Allianz AzP standards. You’ll contribute to planning, provisioning, and transparent portfolio governance, communicating data-driven outcomes to senior leadership.

• Lead remediation efforts across global travel portfolios with emphasis on the UK market
• Perform client- and portfolio-level analyses to identify deterioration drivers (rate inadequacy, rating factor drift, risk mix shifts)
• Collaborate with Pricing to ensure tariff and non-tariff book performance aligns with expectations and adjust as needed
• Work with Portfolio Monitoring and Actuarial teams to identify underperforming segments and define remediation plans
• Ensure underwriting actions comply with Allianz standards and AzP guidelines,



focusing on technical soundness and commercial impact
• Support annual planning with commercial margin analysis and forecast remedial outcomes; communicate residual risks
• Maintain transparency on portfolio changes to support reserve adequacy and technical provisioning
• Represent underwriting in cross-functional remediation squads with Product, Distribution, and Claims to address root causes and drive profitability
• Present findings and proposed actions to senior leadership with data-driven rationale

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years in insurance data analysis, pricing, or performance monitoring
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
• Qualified actuary (e.g., FIA, FSA) or CPA advantage
• Strong MS SQL (or equivalent) experience
• Experience with insurance performance monitoring tools
• Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools, especially Power BI
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office proficiency
• Experience with pricing tools (e.g., Radar) a plus
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
