Experteer Overview
As a Business Data Analyst, you translate data into actionable insights to support BASF’s digital initiatives. You will elicit and document requirements, assess feasibility, and collaborate with product and data teams to map data and develop analyses. You’ll communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and stay current with new tools and methods. This role offers cross-functional collaboration within a global, inclusive team and opportunities to drive data-driven decisions.

• Identify and document requirements from users or products across the organization
• Analyze requirements against the technology landscape and existing tools to resolve use-cases
• Evaluate feasibility and impact, translating high-level needs into data and technical specs
• Collaborate with product and data modelling teams on data needs, mapping, and analysis
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and bridge gaps between teams
• Stay updated on new technologies and experiment to solve known use-cases
• Develop clear reports and presentations for key stakeholders

Responsabilidades




• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven consulting experience with user needs analysis, software development, or market research
• Hands-on experience with data-driven projects and data modeling
• Strong experience with SQL Server
• Familiarity with data analysis and modeling concepts and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Self-motivated with initiative to drive projects with minimal supervision
• Experience working with external vendors or partners
• Ability to learn quickly and stay updated with trends in tools and technologies
