As Spain and Portugal Government Affairs Manager, you will lead Cisco’s public policy engagement across Spain and Portugal and represent the company to government leaders. You will shape policy solutions that support Cisco’s business and inclusive digital future. You will collaborate with regional and global leaders to translate regulatory policy into actionable strategies, addressing technology-policy challenges at the national level. This role offers visibility into high-level government engagements and broad cross-border collaboration in a dynamic tech policy environment.

• Develop and execute advocacy strategies to advance Cisco's public policy initiatives




• Support public sector sales and business development with political, policy, and purpose-driven initiatives
• Monitor Spain and Portugal policy trends to assess business implications
• Prepare and present position papers, regulatory filings, testimony, and briefings
• Explain complex regulatory matters to Cisco leadership clearly and succinctly
• Foster cross-border collaboration with Government Affairs teams in Europe and globally

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in political/public policy work in government, corporate affairs, trade associations, law firms, or policy institutions
• Strong understanding of Spain and Portugal political/regulatory landscape and technology policy processes
• Familiarity with tech policy issues affecting the industry locally and globally
• Near-native fluency in Spanish and English
