Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services, among which, the main one is, the EGNOS service (the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service), on behalf of the EUSPA (the European Agency for Space). /p pWe are looking for a bEGNOS Performance Tools Manager /b who will ensure the steady and fluid operation of the Mission Performance department by means of checking the correct operation of Mission Performance tools, developing new software, defining new requirements and managing the development and acceptance of the tools. For these activities, we are looking for someone with: /p ul lib5 years /b of experience in bcomplex technical systems, /b /li lib3 years /b of experience in the bmanagement, architecture, design, development or evolution of software, /b /li lib1 year /b in a field relevant to bEGNOS Performance. /b /li /ul h3Your main responsibilities/activities will be: /h3 ul liCoordination of the team in charge of maintaining and evolving Mission Performance Tools, /li liMaintain the performance tools, networks, connections and ensure that they can be operated, /li liManagement and control the obsolescence and guarantee of Mission Performance tools, /li liManagement of Observation Reports (ORs), local configuration management, control of changes and documentation management, /li liRaise ORs for the anomalies found in Performance Tools and to participate actively in the Observation Report Board and the follow-up of the anomalies related to Service Provision, /li liMaintain,
develop scripts, software related to the exploitation of tools (e.g. automation of activities), /li liMaintain and evolve the User Performance Continuous Monitoring (UPCM) Tool and similar software developed to provide real time information to users (internal and external users), /li liProposition of evolutions on tools and to manage the Service Provision Requirement Document for the part corresponding to Mission Performance activities, /li liBe responsible of the acceptance of new or evolved performance tools and to participate actively during the corresponding industry qualification milestones, /li liSupport to the system and service Change Control Boards (CCB) and related taskforces in the aspects related to performance tools, /li liSupport the EGNOS System formal Reviews, /li liCoordinate and supervise the installations and deployments related to performance tools. /li /ul h3Profile: /h3 pLeadership and team-building /p ul liExperience in design and development of complex software related to GNSS performance analysis. /li liExperience with software/system lifecycle, from requirements to maintenance. /li liKnowledge of structured engineering environments, preferably in European space, aviation or safety-related contexts, including: /li /ul ul lisystem engineering lifecycle, /li liECSS-based processes,
