ph3Description /h3pRyanair are currently recruiting for a bLegal Associate /b to join Europe's Largest Airline Group! /ppThe purpose of this position is to support Ryanair's Customer Service Legal team and the broader company in protecting Ryanair's interests whilst complying with our obligations under EU Regulation 261/2004. The successful candidate will be hard-working, energetic, self-motivated with a natural ability for problem solving. /ph3The Role /h3pRyanair's significant growth and the increase of EU261 awareness has led to higher case volume and more support and advice being sought from our Customer Service Legal team. /ppThe successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, air passenger rights, consumer law, with an interest in aviation. They will be required to effectively manage the processing of high-volume litigation brought as a result of disruptions in all jurisdictions where Ryanair operates. They will work closely with the CS Lawyers, Legal Associate Managers, and CS Legal Supervisors in the development of strategies designed to improve success rates of our in-house CS Legal team. /ppThe successful candidate will maintain up-to-date knowledge of passenger rights and relevant EU/national legislation. /ph3Requirements /h3ulliLaw Degree /liliExperience handling EU261-related matters would be an advantage /liliUnderstanding of consumer protection legislation, particularly at European level /liliA pro-active,



can-do attitude and ability to work independently with limited supervision /liliAbility to learn quickly, show initiative and cope with a large and varied caseload, whilst complying with tight legal deadlines /liliA creative and proactive approach to problem-solving /liliProven ability to foster constructive and collaborative relationships with colleagues and internal/external stakeholders /liliExceptional organisation, planning, record-keeping and communication skills /liliOutstanding drafting and legal writing skills, attention to detail /liliFull professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) and either Italian or German.
