Let’s get in touch. /p h3What you'll be doing /h3 ul liPartnering with Core Payments leadership to identify, assess, and proactively manage business and operational risks /li liPromoting a proactive risk culture by embedding risk awareness into day-to-day decision‑making and operations /li liPerforming risk assessments for new products, payment flows, operational processes, and strategic initiatives /li liDesigning, implementing, and continuously improving risk controls, governance frameworks, and monitoring processes /li liInvestigating incidents, identifying root causes, and working cross-functionally to implement sustainable solutions that prevent recurrence /li liChallenging existing processes, identifying control gaps, and recommending practical improvements that balance customer experience, operational efficiency, and risk /li liCollaborating closely with Operations, Product, Engineering,



and Compliance teams to ensure risks are understood and effectively managed /li liDeveloping meaningful risk metrics and dashboards to provide leadership with clear visibility into key risk areas and emerging trends /li liSupporting strategic projects involving payment schemes, banking partners, central banks, and clearing systems /li /ul h3What you'll need /h3 ul li7+ years of experience in business risk management, operational risk, enterprise risk, or a similar risk-focused role within financial services, fintech, or banking /li liSolid problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and develop practical, risk-based solutions /li liA proactive mindset with a track record of identifying risks early and implementing preventative controls /li liDemonstrated ownership and the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, general environment /li liExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders /li liExpertise in designing, implementing, or improving risk frameworks, controls, and governance processes /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience within payments, banking operations, or financial infrastructure /li liKnowledge of payment schemes, such as SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, ACH, or other domestic/international payment rails /li liExperience working in a high-growth fintech or technology-driven environment /li liFamiliarity with payment processing, clearing, or settlement operations /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
