Experteer Overview
In this role you will contribute to building scalable backend systems within Deel's global payroll and HR platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and deliver robust features and APIs, while maintaining a strong focus on performance and customer experience. You will tackle complex, high-volume workloads and help shape architecture for rapid growth. Responsabilidades
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience




• Backend development with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript; experience in at least one other server-side language
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise: query optimization, migrations, data modeling
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and building/maintaining scalable classes
• Experience designing systems for scalability and high-volume performance
• API development skills including input validation, JWT, and scalable, secure architectures with queues
• Experience with asynchronous collaboration and distributed teams in a remote environment
• Business-focused approach and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
