As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure – Messaging u0026amp; Async Platform team, you design and scale our messaging and event-driven core. You’ll work on reliable, high-throughput async systems used across engineering teams, shaping the platform that enables cross-service communication. You’ll improve reliability, performance, and observability, helping engineers adopt resilient workflows. This role offers impact at scale in a fast-growing SaaS company focused on integral work.

• Operate and scale the async platform based on NATS; design, build, and maintain messaging infrastructure used across engineering teams
• Develop tooling, libraries, and platform capabilities to simplify and harden asynchronous communication
• Improve reliability, latency, throughput, and operational visibility of messaging systems
• Define best practices for event publishing, schema evolution, retries, dead-letter queues, backpressure, and durability
• Partner with application teams to migrate and optimize messaging and async workflows
• Troubleshoot production issues in distributed systems and drive long-term improvements
• Contribute to architecture decisions around event-driven systems, service communication,



and platform reliability
• Participate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement of operational processes

Responsabilidades
• Strong professional software engineering experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, backend systems, or distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with messaging, streaming, or pub/sub technologies such as NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar, or similar
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts: consistency, ordering, delivery guarantees, fault tolerance, retries, idempotency, backpressure
• Experience operating production systems at scale with monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Proficiency in Typescript, Go, Python, or similar
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerized environments (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to design pragmatic, reliable systems and communicate trade-offs; strong ownership and cross-team collaboration
