Experteer Overview
In this role, you will own the end-to-end FPGA architecture for state-of-the-art communications test and measurement products. You will shape tradeoffs on IP, floorplanning and timing strategies for multi-gigabit designs, while applying advanced verification. You’ll serve as the technical escalation point and mentor other engineers, driving root-cause analysis during silicon and board bring-up. You contribute to a fast-paced, globally collaborating team that delivers high-performance FPGA solutions.

• Define and drive end-to-end FPGA architecture for high-speed designs
• Make/buy tradeoffs on IP, floorplanning and timing closure strategy
• Lead DFX approach for multi-gbps designs
• Utilize Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL and industry tools for simulation, synthesis, Pu0026R, and formal/UVM verification
• Serve as final technical escalation point for FPGA design and debug
• Mentor other FPGA engineers and lead root-cause debug of silicon/board bring-up issues

Responsabilidades
• BS or MS in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering with 12–15 years of relevant experience




• At least 5+ years architecting and closing timing on multi-Gbps SerDes/transceiver-based FPGA designs
• Expertise with Verilog/SystemVerilog and/or VHDL
• Deep hands-on FPGA transceivers, hard IP, and PLLs with timing closure and link debug at multi-Gbps rates
• Experience closing timing and debugging link-layer issues on high-speed Ethernet and IP protocol stacks
• Proven experience with optical interfaces (SFPs, QSFPs) in shipped products
• Knowledge of VLANs, MPLS, VPLS, VoIP/IPTV
• Experience with AMD or Altera FPGA devices and full toolchains
• Formal verification and/or UVM-based verification methodologies
• Experience taking FPGA designs from architecture to volume production
• Git or similar version control experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor and collaborate with global stakeholders
• Analytical and organizational skills with rigor in fast-paced environments
