Job title: Sustainable Mobility Laboratory
Research line / Scientific-technical services: Sustainable mobility and urban and metropolitan transit system
Grant/funding period: START: 01/01/2026 END: 31/12/2026
Centre of Principal Researcher: Center for Technological Innovation in Construction and Civil Engineering
PURPOSE OF CONTRACT:
Collaborator on activities related to the project/agreement stated.
JOB LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: School of Civil Engineering: 09:00-14:00 and 16:00-18:00 Monday to Friday

Task to perform:

Collaboration, mainly, in tasks of:

- Mobility analysis and operations studies
- Geographic information systems
- Collection and processing of mobility data, both in the field and in the office

Could collaborate, also, in tasks of:

- Development of computer models for transport supply and demand
- Database analysis

Eligibility criteria
Selection criteria:

- Access degree and academic record. Degrees granting access to the regulated profession in Spain of Technical Civil Engineer (Ingeniero Técnico de Obras Públicas) or Civil Engineer (Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) will be assessed (maximum 20 points).



The grade will be 2 * Academic file grade on a 0-10 scale (the degree qualification or the qualification prior to Royal Decree 1393/2007 will be considered)
- Master on Civil Engineering and its academic record (maximum 5 points). The grade will be 0.5 * Academic file grade on a 0-10 scale (in case of qualification prior to Royal Decree 1393/2007, the academic transcript of the qualification)
- Accredited training in mobility and transport planning (maximum 25 points, 2 points for every 10 hours of training)
- Accredited experience in research support tasks in mobility (maximum 20 points, 4 points per accredited month)
- Accredited experience in processing mobility data using geographic information systems (maximum 10 points: 3 points per accredited month)
- Personal interview: in which motivation and interest in the project to be developed will be assessed; it will be conducted with the 3 individuals who obtain the highest score in the sum of the remaining criteria, with a minimum score of 25 points (maximum 20 points). If only one candidate meets the requirements, the interview will not be conducted.
- The merits claimed by the candidates must be documented and fulfilled by the end of the deadline for submitting candidacies.
- The process will create a waiting list (reserves). A minimum of 25 points will be required (excluding the interview score) for the candidate to be proposed.
