What You Will Do

Team Leadership:

Strategically steer a high:performing user experience organization, directly managing 6 expert product designers and a Design Manager who oversees the global design system to cultivate a culture of continuous development and high:impact execution.

Attract and elevate elite design talent across the broader Vista UX community, championing a progressive performance management framework that aligns career growth with enterprise milestones.

Design Craft and Quality:

:
Uphold exceptional design craft and visual standards across a global, multi:tenant digital ecosystem, introducing innovative, metrics:driven practices that elevate our design culture in a matrixed environment.

Operationalize comprehensive sub:functional strategies across six core foundational domains-including our Design System, Merchandising, My Account, and Ordering Experience-ensuring seamless cross:organizational scalability and transactional stability.

Partner closely with Content Design, UX Research, and Data teams to ensure a deeply holistic, end:to:end customer journey.

Lead High:Impact Strategic Problem Solving:

Serve as the operational anchor for the domain, translating high:level business goals into practical design plans to solve unique, highly ambiguous design challenges.

Partner as an equal peer alongside cross:functional Product and Engineering leaders to define roadmap priorities and proactively anticipate evolving e:commerce and marketplace landscapes.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executive leadership, executing compelling presentations that articulate sophisticated UX methodologies and champion the commercial impact of world:class design.

Your Qualifications

12+ years of experience in designing innovative digital products within large:scale, high:volume e:commerce or digital service ecosystems.

:
6+ years of experience in directly leading, mentoring, and managing people-specifically including experience managing other design leaders or managers within a matrixed corporate structure.

:
Advanced proficiency in leveraging both quantitative and qualitative user data to validate design concepts, prioritize roadmaps, and influence high:stakes stakeholder decisions.

:
Proven capability to navigate systemic ambiguity, transform conceptual business ideas into concrete user journeys, and drive alignment across multi:tenant product environments.

Nice to Have

:
Bachelors or advanced graduate degree in Design, Human:Computer Interaction (HCI), or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.

:
Practical proficiency in modern collaborative design and prototyping tool suites (such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite).

:
Working knowledge of service design principles, focusing on optimizing systemic cross:organizational operations to improve both user and employee experiences.
