As a Java UI Developer at Siemens, you will contribute to the Simcenter STAR-CCM+ framework by building and evolving the Java client infrastructure across API and UI layers. You will work closely with Core Framework and UX teams to deliver robust, user-friendly desktop and hybrid solutions. The role involves designing extensible software, code refactoring, and ensuring quality through tests in a large, distributed environment. You will engage in peer reviews and benefit from a collaborative culture that values innovation and growth.

Responsabilidades
• Degree or commensurate experience in computer science, engineering or mathematics with 3+ years of post-academic software development experience
• Proficiency crafting client-server, desktop applications for Linux and Windows
• Strong Java skills including modern features
• Experience developing Java clients in Swing/NetBeans (the framework) or similar
• Experience with large-scale datasets and stringent performance/quality requirements
• Experience handling large, legacy codebases
• Experience with Git or distributed version control
• Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems
• Ability to communicate sophisticated technical topics clearly
