We are transitioning away from siloed engineering roles toward T-shaped, AI-empowered web developers. As an Applied AI Software Engineer (Web), you will build user-centric web applications and banking solutions while utilizing AI-driven tools and agentic workflows to accelerate code delivery, testing, and system integrations. AI-Enabled Web Delivery: Actively leverage AI coding assistants, LLM workflows, and automated tooling to accelerate feature development across UI, backend services, and APIs.

Deliver production-ready features for the Backbase Digital Banking and Wealth platforms—from Angular frontend components to backend microservice integrations.

Modern Web Engineering: Write clean, testable, and maintainable TypeScript/Angular code utilizing Nx, RxJS, and the Backbase Design System.

Quality & Performance: Design testable components, run unit/integration test suites,



and uphold strict web accessibility (a11y), security, and performance standards.

Agile Collaboration: Work autonomously within a cross-functional Scrum squad (UX, QA, Product Managers) to ship rapid product increments.

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on modern web technologies. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, LLM-driven testing or refactoring workflows). Full-Stack Capability: Solid foundational knowledge of backend integrations, REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent written and spoken English, with strong collaboration skills in an agile, multidisciplinary environment.
