Position: Automation Systems Specialist

About the role

This position will focus on providing on‑site and remote support for Sandvik Digital Automation solutions, including AutoMine® and Newtrax systems.

The role will support the installation, commissioning, validation, optimization and ongoing maintenance of automation systems, helping customers improve safety, productivity and operational performance.

Main responsibilities

- - Installation,



commissioning, validation and optimization of new automation systems.

- Customer training, both classroom‑based and on‑the‑job.

- Participation in customer operational meetings and scoping workshops.

- Troubleshooting, fault finding and support for installed systems.

- Remote and on‑site technical support.

- Production optimization activities.

- Technical support for sales initiatives.

- Collaboration with customers, internal teams and global technical support.

Candidate profile

- - A strong technical background.

- Experience with automation systems, ideally Sandvik Automation products.

- Knowledge of networking and network protocols.

- Good computer skills and reporting capabilities.

- Experience in mining or heavy equipment environments would be a plus.

- Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
