Cloud Architect for T Cloud Public, you will shape the next generation of our public cloud by enhancing and evolving the physical and virtual networking layers of our OpenStack-based platform.#### Responsibilities

Designing, operating, and further developing OpenStack-based network services on the T Cloud Public platform in close collaboration with vendors and internal experts

Planning and driving automation initiatives using modern frameworks to improve reliability and speed

Enhancing the platform's network architecture with strong focus on IT security and robustness

Working closely with specialists across the Deutsche Telekom Group on topics related to public cloud and open-source technologies

Preparing technical materials, presenting architectural concepts, and advising management on strategic technology decisions

Acting as a senior architect within an agile squad — supporting, mentoring, and guiding colleagues as part of everyday work

Handling hands-on tasks at the console to validate and support architectural decisions

Improving and modernizing cloud platform architecture with IT security top of mind

Designing and developing innovative platform and SaaS features

Being a trusted advisor in OpenStack-based public cloud technologies

Working hands-on and combining architecture with practical implementation

Automating consistently using established frameworks### Your ProfileWe are looking for a

Cloud Architect with deep expertise in OpenStack-based cloud platforms, network architecture, and infrastructure automation, combined with strong mentoring and communication abilities.#### Must Have Skills

Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or equivalent professional training





3–5 years of professional experience in IT with strong exposure to modern cloud technologies

Deep knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures

Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)

In-depth knowledge of Linux

In-depth knowledge of system tools

In-depth knowledge of network related services

Strong customer orientation

Ability to understand real-world use cases

Knowledge of agile development methods

Experience working in agile teams

Mentoring skills

Presentation skills

Communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly

Ability to evaluate technical solutions and propose creative, future-proof approaches

Fluency in written and spoken English#### Nice to Have Skills

OpenStack knowledge
