Opportunity Merlin Edged has an exciting opportunity for a Command Center Manager. In this position, you will work closely with Data Center Site Managers, Facility Managers, and regional leadership teams to oversee the operational performance of multiple data center facilities across the portfolio.

You will be responsible for driving operational excellence through centralized monitoring, reporting, governance, escalation management, service delivery coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role plays a critical part in ensuring operational consistency, reliability, and compliance across all sites while supporting business objectives and customer commitments.

We are looking for someone who can become a subject matter expert in data center operations, customer service delivery, critical infrastructure management, operational reporting, incident management, work control processes, and performance analytics. You will leverage operational platforms, monitoring systems, workflows, and management tools to provide visibility, support informed decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency throughout the region.

The Regional Operations Control

Center serves as the operational nerve center of the organization, enabling proactive risk management, enhanced customer experience, improved service reliability, and consistent execution across all data center operations. Key Responsabilities:

Operational Management

Lead and manage the 24/7 Regional Command Center.

Monitor and coordinate operational activities across all sites.

Ensure effective execution of operational processes and procedures.

Coordinate incident management, escalation processes and operational communications.

Support site leadership teams in achieving operational objectives and service delivery targets.

Asset and Maintenance Management

Review, maintain and continuously improve the corporate asset inventory.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset records throughout the asset lifecycle.

Maintain and optimize maintenance programs, task libraries and maintenance strategies.

Verify the correct planning, execution and closure of maintenance work orders.

Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all maintenance activities.

Support maintenance planning and resource optimization initiatives.

Asset and Maintenance Data Governance

Act as the corporate owner of asset and maintenance data quality standards.





Establish and maintain governance processes for asset information management.

Ensure all assets are correctly classified, coded, documented and maintained within corporate systems.

Maintain consistency between CMMS/EAM platforms, BMS, DCIM systems and technical documentation.

Define standards for asset creation, modification, retirement and maintenance plan management.

Develop and implement data quality controls and governance policies.

Conduct periodic audits of asset data, maintenance records and technical documentation.

Identify and correct discrepancies, duplication issues and data integrity problems.

Ensure complete traceability and auditability of changes affecting asset and maintenance information.

Promote standardization of asset structures, nomenclature and maintenance data across all data centers.

Lead corporate initiatives aimed at improving asset data quality and operational intelligence.

Data Analysis and Operational Optimization

Analyze data generated by operational and maintenance management systems to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

Produce performance reports, dashboards and operational insights for management.

Develop recommendations to improve reliability, availability and operational efficiency.

Support digital transformation and automation initiatives through data-driven decision making.

Promote the use of Business Intelligence tools and predictive analytics capabilities.

Implement and drive a “lessons learned” approach Skills & Requirements

Education / Experience

Problem-solving aptitude and advanced knowledge of lean operational methodologies to distill operational data, develop an intentional data-driven strategy, and drive resulting global impact

Leading 24/7 operational support environments

Experience mentoring and leading project management professionals is desired but not required

Background in a technical field, or commensurate experience

5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a mature engineering or operations environment A solid understanding of enterprise level infrastructure is desired

Knowledge of critical environment concepts and infrastructure (e.g.

Electrical

Distribution, Mechanical Cooling Systems, etc.) A solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting

Project or program management experience and certification(s) (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMI, Agile...)

Managing maintenance programs, asset performance and operational reliability.

Supervising maintenance activities, shutdown planning and critical interventions.

Developing, implementing and improving operational procedures and maintenance standards.

Managing technical asset registers and maintenance documentation.





Monitoring and improving operational KPIs, SLAs and service performance metrics.

Supporting critical incident response and recovery processes.

Conducting trend analysis and identifying opportunities for operational optimization.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites.

Advanced knowledge of mission-critical electrical infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers and power distribution systems.

Knowledge of BMS, SCADA, DCIM and monitoring platforms.

Experience with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies.

Advanced knowledge of CMMS/EAM platforms such as eMaint, IBM Maximo, SAP PM, Infor or equivalent.

Knowledge of maintenance planning methodologies and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).

Experience managing service providers, maintenance contracts and technical vendors.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance, industrial safety standards and applicable legislation.

Knowledge of asset taxonomy structures, equipment hierarchy models and maintenance data standards..

ISO 55001 Asset Management training.

Lean Management, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Experience with technical data governance and asset information management.

Proficiency in KPI development, maintenance performance metrics and operational reporting.

Experience using Power BI, advanced Excel or similar analytics tools.

Strong understanding of critical cooling and HVAC systems.

Experience in root cause analysis (RCA), incident management and continuous improvement methodologies.
