DevOps Engineers with a strong focus on monitoring and observability.

This role involves the development and operations of Monitoring and Data Analytics Tools for the Network Control Platform of Deutsche Telekom Germany (AAA Fixed Net Germany).#### Responsibilities

Take end-to-end responsibility for the monitoring platforms.

Help evolve monitoring platforms across both traditional infrastructure and cloud-native environments.### Your ProfileWe are looking for a

DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on monitoring and observability, possessing deep technical expertise in cloud-native environments, Linux administration, and automation tools.#### Must Have Skills

Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools, specifically

Checkmk, Grafana, and Kibana

Good understanding of

OpenTelemetry and modern observability concepts (collectors, exporters, metrics, logs, and traces)

Solid

Linux administration skills

Experience with

VMware and

Kubernetes-based cloud environments

Knowledge of container technologies such as

Docker or similar runtimes

Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including

GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, and Git

Scripting or programming skills, preferably in

Python and Bash

Experience with

APIs, YAML, JSON

, and the automation of operational tasks

Fundamental knowledge of networking, including

DNS, load balancing, and firewalls





Strong teamwork and communication skills A structured, solution-oriented mindset

Ability to create and maintain technical documentation in

English

Knowledge of rollout management based on

ITIL/corporate processes

(Incident, Problem, and Change management)#### Nice to Have Skills
