Role Purpose

This role serves as the operational execution engine for Europe's Commercial organisation,

providing the equivalent capability of a Chief Operating Officer without introducing an additional executive management layer. It is not a traditional PMO role; rather, it is accountable for driving execution governance across the One Commercial Brain operating model and all cross-functional strategic initiatives it generates.

The purpose of the role is to translate strategy into disciplined execution by establishing robust programme governance, clear accountability, and a consistent operating cadence across functions. By taking ownership of planning, coordination, decision tracking, and execution oversight, the role removes the operational burden currently carried informally by senior commercial leaders.

This enables the commercial leadership team to focus on customers, growth, and revenue generation, while ensuring strategic priorities are delivered efficiently, cross-functional dependencies are proactively managed, and organisational outcomes are achieved with speed, transparency, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end execution governance for One Commercial Brain and all cross-functional strategic initiatives spanning Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, RevOps, Customer Success, Support and Engineering.
- Run the operating projects for the Europe Leadership Team: cadence, agendas, action tracking and follow-through between strategic programs, proceses, and revenue streams.
- Track executive actions to closure, with visible ownership and dates,

replacing today's informal and untracked follow-up.
- Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies before they become delivery risk; escalate early with a recommended path, not just a status update.
- Coordinate product readiness workstreams that sit across multiple functions, ensuring commitments made to customers are operationally deliverable.
- Build and maintain the mechanisms, not the headcount, that let strategic initiatives progress without requiring the SVP's direct time on every workstream.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8 years in strategic programme leadership, business operations, chief of staff or transformation roles inside a fast-scaling B2B SaaS or technology organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution governance across functions with no direct authority over the teams involved, through credibility and process rather than hierarchy.
- Comfortable operating at both the detail level, dependency tracking and follow-up, and the executive level, framing risk and trade-offs for senior leadership decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communicator; able to translate a complex cross-functional picture into a clear executive update.
- Experience standing up an operating cadence and governance model from a low base, not just running an existing one.
- Fluent English required; additional major European language an advantage.

Success Matrices – First 12 Months

- Strategic initiatives delivered on time, materially above today's baseline.
- Measurable reduction in execution delays across One Commercial Brain workstreams.
- Leadership hours redirected from coordination toward customers and growth, tracked and visible.
- Faster cross-functional decision making, evidenced by cycle time from issue raised to decision closed.
