Tasks
Your Responsibilities
- - Perform line maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and defect rectification in accordance with EASA regulations and approved maintenance documentation.
- Certify aircraft for return to service as an EASA Part-66 CAT B1.1 Aircraft Certifying Technician.
- Interpret technical documentation, including the Minimum Equipment List (MEL), to ensure safe and compliant maintenance.
- Diagnose technical faults and perform effective repair solutions.
- Lead and coordinate maintenance activities during your shift, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance.
- Supervise and support technicians within your area of responsibility, providing technical guidance and coaching.
- Act as the Technical Manager's deputy during shift operations, making operational decisions when required.
- Coordinate technical activities with flight crews, airport partners,
and other stakeholders to ensure smooth station operations.
- Support operational planning and cost awareness while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.
Requirements
Your profile
- - Obligatory: valid EASA Part-66 CAT B1.1 licence with type ratings on A320 Family (all engines), B777 (GE), and B787 (RR Trent/GE).
- Additional type ratings on A350 (RR Trent) and/or A220 (PW) are an advantage.
- Current Human Factors, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certificates.
- Recent certifying experience on EASA-registered aircraft (minimum 6 months within the last 24 months).
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Structured and proactive working style with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Previous leadership experience and the ability to guide, coach, and motivate team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in a rotating three-shift system and support assignments within the Lufthansa network when required.
- Valid and unlimited Schengen Visa, driving licence.
