Ensure that all processes and methodologies in the Engineering area of PLD Space are defined, validated, controlled and documented in accordance with the ECSS requirements and those of each of the programmes. Likewise, it focuses on the improvement of these processes to achieve operational excellence in the engineering function.
Responsibilities
Identify applicable processes and define critical aspects of these
Define methodologies, procedures and standards and coordinate their implementation among engineering teams, as well as their follow up and continuous improvement.
Facilitate communication and coordination between engineering teams and other as program management, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and testing teams.
Ensure correct management and maintain visibility of department workload, milestones, and execution status.
Prepare regular progress reports and management summaries
Help optimize department efficiency and utilization of resources
Necessary Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering organizations
Strong organizational and coordination abilities
Planning and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
Fluency in English language
