As an Environment Surfacing Artist, you will be involved in many aspects of the visual development and look of the production, working in coordination with the Production team, Art Director,



Environment Supervisor, and Visual Effects Supervisor to deliver a visually impressive result.

Responsibilities

- Creates textures using photographic references, digital hand-painted techniques, existing texture assets, and procedural workflows.
- Paints stylized textures based on concept art while maintaining the visual style of the show using Substance 3D Paint and Photoshop.
- Creates procedural textures using Substance 3D Designer.
- Possesses the a ability to create, adapt, and iterate within a variety of artistic styles.
- Shows a clear understanding of UVs and texture layout.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of physically based shading principles, including material properties such as albedo, reflection, refraction, roughness, and subsurface scattering.
- Authors and modifies materials using standard and procedural shading workflows within
