Description El Festival u22 és l’espai anual per descobrir el millor cinema jove del país.
The u22 Festival is a platform dedicated to showcasing and promoting young audiovisual talent. It works to democratize access to cinema, turning it into a tool for thought, expression, and cultural transformation.
Supported by the Fundació Joan Miró, the festival provides first-time exhibition opportunities for filmmakers up to the age of 22. It also facilitates professional entry into cultural management for the young people aged 18 to 25 who make up its organizing team.
Since 2019, the project has established itself as a space for exhibition, training, and networking. It boosts emerging local talent,
fosters community building, and contributes to a more diverse, safe, and sustainable audiovisual industry.
