We're partnering with a fast-growing international group in the branded food & beverage / retail space that is entering the Iberian market with an ambitious, accelerated expansion plan. Due to confidentiality at this stage of the search, the company name will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

The opportunity

As the business scales its footprint across Spain and Portugal, we're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to build and lead the finance function for the region from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape a finance department during a genuine start-up/high-growth phase, with real visibility to senior leadership and a clear path to grow in scope as the business expands.

What you'll do

- Own financial reporting and control: monthly/quarterly/annual close, P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow across the region
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, partnering closely with the Country Manager and functional leads
- Build financial models for new store business cases, capex and investment decisions
- Drive cost control and margin management, with a strong focus on food cost, labour cost and occupancy
- Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting and banking relationships
- Ensure full compliance with Spanish/Portuguese tax and statutory reporting requirements,



working closely with external advisors
- Act as a true business partner to non-finance stakeholders, translating financial insight into commercial decisions
- Play a hands-on role in supporting an aggressive multi-location opening plan

What we're looking for

- 8 years of finance experience, ideally with exposure to F&B;, retail or multi-site hospitality
- Strong track record in store-level P&L; management, cost accounting and COGS analysis
- Solid knowledge of European accounting standards, tax and statutory reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel / financial modelling
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken); Portuguese is a plus
- Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- A builder's mindset — as comfortable rolling up your sleeves as thinking strategically
