We are looking for Payroll Staff and Senior Payroll Staff to join the Global Finance team of an international company. The selected candidates will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll processes across multiple regions (Americas, EMEA and APAC), working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll for employees across multiple international regions.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of semi-monthly and monthly payrolls.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, transfers, compensation changes and other payroll-related updates.
- Review employee expense reports and maintain payroll-related information in internal systems.
- Coordinate with external payroll providers and ensure payroll files are accurate and compliant.
- Support stock-based compensation and related tax processes.
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with internal, external and statutory audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and provide support to the wider Finance team when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Labour Relations or a related field.
- Experience in payroll administration (minimum 3 years for Payroll Staff; solid senior-level experience for Senior Payroll Staff).
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation, social security and payroll taxation.
- Experience with cloud-based ERP systems such as NetSuite is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Celergo is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Advanced English (mandatory). Additional languages are a plus.
We offer:
- Temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
- Salary around 30,000 € gross/year , depending on experience and profile.
- Hybrid working model in Spain, with preference for candidates located in Valencia or nearby areas . Employees and contractors are expected to work from the office at least two days per week. Additional office attendance may be required for specific company events or business needs.
- Flexibility regarding the choice of remote and in-office working days, in coordination with the team and operational requirements.
- Full-time position (40 hours/week), with standard working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including a lunch break from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
