The Project Controls Manager shall oversee all project control activities and provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to all Project Controls team members to ensure effective project planning, monitoring, reporting, and control to the project. Analyse and perform project planning, scheduling and monitoring for the Project to ensure completion of Project to the required safety, quality, schedule and cost. /ph3Key Accountabilities /h3ulliEnsure baseline schedule follow-up and monitoring, performance reporting, baseline change control assessment, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools. /liliAdvice and consult on the application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, critical path analysis). /liliSupport program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices. /liliSupport and advise on the definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and the standards required to deliver projects. /liliInvolve actively in the development of integrated project schedule for projects that reflect all interface milestones, availability and need dates of feedstock,
offsite and utilities and activity durations from multiple contractors’ schedules and assess changes to the integrated schedule. /liliMonitor and control program compliance in respect of the project contractual obligations. /liliEnsure contract, procurement, planning and scheduling activities within the project is performed as per Company requirements. /liliSupport the PCM on all contractual and commercial issues to maintain company’s interests. /liliCoordinate and attend internal/external project reviews and other meetings, as necessary. /liliKeep up to date with and adhere to Company and project related procedures. /liliEnsure deliverables are delivered and that these are flagged to the PCM. /liliGenerate weekly / monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, provide details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances. /liliEnsure that project controls processes are consistently applied across the project. /liliManage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the agreed Scope of Work across integrated programs managed across multiple parties. /liliSupport and advise on the definition of Project Controls and Management policies, procedures and the standards required to deliver projects. /liliWork closely with the Senior Project Manager and other discipline Managers to maximize the potential of the project. /liliManage and guide the review of Project Baseline Schedule to ensure compliance with the Contract Schedule requirements and the overall Project schedule. /liliInstruct various reviews/analyses of the Project Schedule and the generation of special reports highlighting areas of slippage, concerns and forecasts. /liliManage and guide the process of Progress Certification and Invoice Payment under the Contract.
/liliEnsure appropriate certificates are generated and maintained for the Project denoting approval of various Milestones and Completion Activities. /li /ulh3Internal Control /h3ulliDevelop and improve the project control procedures, systems and tools. Continuously work with the Project Management Teams to seek improvement opportunities and incorporate them in the standard ways of Project Controls. /liliBe an active advocate of the project controls principles for better management of project operations. /liliAspects in enriching the desired culture through his/her internal and external communications. /li /ulh3Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge Skills /h3ulliMinimum Qualification:ulliBachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable and recognized university. /lili20+ years of project experience, working in the oil gas industry with previous knowledge of preparing and implementing project plans, schedules and cost control. /liliA bachelor’s degree in any/relevant Engineering from an accredited university with minimum twenty (20+) years of relevant experience in the Oil Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region. /liliMust have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position for international Oil Gas or Petrochemical projects. /liliExtensive Experience in Offshore Project is required. /liliADNOC project experience is required. /liliPMC experience is required. /li /ul /liliProfessional Certifications:ulliPreferred but not mandatory to have PMP, CCP. /li /ul /li /ulh3Technical Competencies /h3ulliProject control (Planning, scheduling, monitoring and control) skills. /liliFull understanding of schedule, cost and risk analysis tools and techniques. /liliTechnical understanding and proficient knowledge related to Oil Gas business. /liliPlanning and implementation skills. /liliDetailed knowledge of principles, policies, procedures, and internal processes pertaining to project control transactions. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
