This is an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to the growth of the burgeoning infrastructure and project finance asset class. You will leverage Scope’s proprietary rating methodology and extensive industry expertise to make a tangible impact. /p h3Duties responsibilities /h3 ul liActs as lead credit analyst in infrastructure and project finance transactions, with focus on capital market vehicles /li liPerforms analysis both at the equity and the debt level /li liAnalysis involves quantitative and qualitative aspects and may require visiting project sites around Europe /li liStudies project contracts and documentation /li liModifies and run the cash-flow models of projects in order to incorporate the relevant rating stresses and obtain the loss of the rated instruments under different event outcomes /li liProduces opinionated rating reports and sector research, demonstrating Scope’s fundamental understanding of credit risk in the context of infrastructure and project finance and its trends /li liParticipates in rating committees as lead analyst or independent member /li li4 years of experience in a large rating agency, a bank, a structuring advisory or an investment fund, with a clear focus on project finance /li liBachelor's or master's degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent qualification /li liStrong education in finance /li liIn-depth knowledge of and relevant experience in at least one infrastructure and project finance sector /li liFamiliarity with the diverse types of funding options in project or asset finance such as term loans, project bonds,



revolving facilities /li liUnderstanding of the basic credit risk factors in project finance and ability to generate robust rating rationale /li liUnderstanding of the basic relevant legal issues in project finance /li liHighly analytical, with an edge for fundamental and quantitative analysis /li liConfident and professional appearance and high social and communication skills /li liAccountable and reliable person of highest integrity /li liWillingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude /li liFluency in at least a major European language (German and / or French preferred) in addition to English /li /ul h3Compensation Range: /h3 pThe compensation range disclosed may encompass multiple title levels (Scope internal levels of seniority).
