ph3General Purpose /h3 pIdentify the roles and responsibilities of the AIT in a Long-Term Facility. This is a training position with direct oversight by a licensed Precepting Administrator. /p h3Essential Duties /h3 ul liAssists in analyzing the various operations within a nursing facility /li liActs as a liaison between the nursing facility, residents, families and outside community /li liCompiles and develops reporting on budget projections, revenue and expenses /li liIs a role model for our Mission, Vision and Values. Ensures all employees, residents and families are treated with the utmost respect /li liActively involved in community groups and developing/maintaining relationships with local hospital leadership and physicians /li liMonitors industry regulations, laws, compliance updates and makes changes as appropriate /li liUses time effectively to study for both Federal and State regulations and comes to a sound understanding of industry best practices /li liUnderstands staffing level requirements and adheres to industry and company standards /li liAssists in monitoring and directing execution of policy and procedural changes /li liActively involved in resolving HR issues and Risk Management situations within the facility /li liAssists in capital improvements /li liParticipates in Advisory committees /li liAssists in all safety programs /li liDevelops and maintains a stellar reputation within the industry and community /li liDevelops relationships with the support team (HR/Therapy/Clinical/Finance) to assist with meeting/exceeding goals /li liAssists in contract negotiations with vendors under the direction of the Preceptor.
/li liSupports Clinical efforts by understanding QA measures and holding people accountable /li liKeeps abreast of collections and A/R on a daily basis /li liDevelops and executes creative ideas to increase employee engagement and minimize turnover /li /ul h3Supervisory Requirements /h3 pThis position is responsible for assisting in managing and overseeing multiple levels of employees either directly or indirectly. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems and terminations. /p h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education And/or Experience /h3 pRequired - Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration or Business preferred. /p pMaster’s degree or MBA preferred /p h3Language Skills /h3 pAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. /p pAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. /p pAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. /p h3Mathematical Skills /h3 pAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. /p h3Reasoning Ability /h3 pAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Registrations /h3 pTo preform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite products. /p h3Salary Range /h3 p$70,000 - $100,000 /p h3Location /h3 pAIT positions are NOT located in Utah.
