ph3Job Description /h3 pAs a Product Director for Brokerage at J.P. Morgan Personal Investing, you will lead a team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end‑to‑end product life cycle. You are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top‑tier client experiences. We work in tribes and squads that focus on specific products and projects – and depending on your strengths and interests, you’ll have the opportunity to move between them. /p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelops and articulates a clear product strategy that delivers meaningful value to customers and aligns with the firm’s broader objectives across the EU /li liLeads discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap /li liBuilds the framework and tracks the product’s key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture,
and reliability /li liBuild strong and collaborative relationships across different departments, including internal teams (e.g. Product and Engineering, Compliance, Operations and Investments) and with our external partners /li liOwns the Product Development process, always striving to improve how products are built to ensure teams operate to their maximum effectiveness and efficiency /li liBalances business and technical objectives and translate these as clear priorities for other Product Managers and the Engineering team /li liOversees product development, testing, and release management, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability /li /ul h3Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills /h3 ul li10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area within financial services or technology /li liProven track record of successfully building and managing wealth management products, and familiarity with brokerage and/or mutual funds end‑to‑end lifecycle /li liProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management /li liExperience with software delivery best practices, working with technical product requirements and mapping of dependencies,
design of minimum viable products, working with multi‑country requirements /li liAbility to explain technical issues in a clear way to the business and other stakeholders /li liAbility to analyse and incorporate user needs, business needs, and technical constraints/opportunities into the product development process /li liBe the glue among departments and create shared understanding by translating ideas and concepts into technical or layman’s terms /li liExperience developing investment products across different European jurisdictions /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, finance or highly qualitative degree /li liBeyond English, fluency in German, Italian, French, Spanish or Dutch /li liDemonstrated prior experience navigating and working in matrix and complex organizations, collaborating effectively across teams and functions /li /ul pWe are an equal opportunity employer and place a high value on diversity and inclusion at our company.
