About the Job The Solutions Manager (EU) serves as the regional technical solutions specialist, responsible for designing, proposing, and supporting end-to-end electrical power solutions across strategic segments in the European region.
This role works closely with Country Sales and Customer Success Engineering teams, to deliver complex, strategic, and non-standard solutions in different segments (Data Centers, Renewable, Utilities, Industrial etc). The Solutions Manager ensures CHINT solutions meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and competitive technical positioning across European markets.
Success in this role is measured by the ability to translate solutions into customer confidence, project awards, and commercial order conversion.
This is a full-time position. We are currently building a professional team, and the job opening is available to candidates from all European countries. We currently have entities in the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, the Czech Republic, Italy, Romania, Poland, Turkey and other countries,
all of which can be used as work locations. For markets where we have no entities, cooperation can also be carried out via EOR.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Technical Ownership
- Design and own end-to-end electrical solutions together with engineering team for EU projects across HV/MV/LV power distribution systems , ensuring alignment with regional and local standards.
- Prepare, review, and validate key engineering deliverables, including:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
- Technical specifications
- Compliance documentation and system assumptions
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead technical discussions, clarification meetings, and design reviews with key stakeholders, including:
- End users and developers, Consulting engineers, EPC contractors, Utilities and regulators
- Represent CHINT as a trusted technical partner in customer engagements across EU.
Sales & Bid Support
- Support country sales teams through strong technical leadership in:
- Proposal development and compliance responses
- Technical queries (TQs) and bid clarifications
- Technical assumptions supporting pricing and commercial evaluation
- Strengthen CHINT’s value proposition through differentiated,
solution-based engineering support.
Project Execution Support
- Partner with project delivery teams during execution phases, including:
- Design finalization and approvals
- FAT / SAT participation
- Commissioning support and technical issue resolution
- Ensure solutions are delivered safely, reliably, and according to customer and CHINT quality requirements.
Market & Product Feedback Loop
- Maintain strong awareness of evolving customer requirements, local standards, and competitive landscape across EU markets.
- Identify product gaps and solution needs to support:
- New product development
- Localization strategies
- Future-ready solution roadmaps
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on knowledge of power distribution systems.
- Strong understanding of HV/MV/LV electrical system design, protection concepts, and solution integration.
- Proven technical problem-solving and structured solutioning ability.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects, countries, and customer interfaces.
- Self-driven, accountable, and capable of planning and delivering work independently in a regional role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD or related electrical/project design is an advantage.
- Familiarity with IEC standards and regional compliance frameworks is highly valued.
