About The Role This role sits between the Research Lab and the product. You will prototype new methods, prove them on customer data, and hand them to the platform team once they beat the incumbent.
What you'll do Prototype uplift, doubly-robust and off-policy methods on real enterprise data.
Design robust offline evaluation pipelines that survive contact with production.
Publish internal notes and, when the work merits it, external papers.
Mentor engineers on causal thinking and experimental design.
What we're looking for PhD or equivalent industry experience in ML, statistics or econometrics.
Strong track record with causal inference or uplift modelling.
Solid engineering, your prototypes run, reproducibly. Nice to have Prior work in marketing, pricing or recsys uplift.
Open-source contributions to causal ML libraries.
