You’ll be working with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions that enhance customer experiences and operational excellence on a global scale. It’s a unique opportunity to combine Glovo’s vibrant, fast-paced culture with the reach and complexity of one of the world’s largest local delivery platforms. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liWorking on our next-generation platform to not only provide groceries for our hungry customers but also other daily urgent needs like drinks, fruits, snacks but also batteries. /li liLeading a team to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable services. /li liCollaborating closely with product managers, engineering leaders, and leadership across Q-Commerce. /li liHiring and developing engineers, with a deep understanding of agile software development methodologies. /li liManaging a cross-functional team with backend, frontend and mobile profiles. /li liYou are not afraid to build reliable, scalable systems with high concurrency and are eager to learn and implement new languages and technologies. Your decisions will make an impact since your ideas and efforts do matter. /li liEventually, you are not afraid to build global systems which are used by thousands of people and constantly drive for excellence. /li liWorking in a goal-driven environment. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li2 years of cross-functional team management experience with backend, frontend, and test engineers. /li liYou have a T profile with in-depth experience in at least one backend language, but able to understand the technical complexity of frontend, infrastructure, mobile and QA.



If needed you can land on a new project, learn the underline technologies and understand the overall technical components. /li li3 years of experience in applications infrastructure management and operations. /li liExperience in working agile methodologies. /li liKnowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. /li liDeep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods, and best practices. /li liYou are a pragmatic manager who understands what is needed to get things done in a collaborative manner. /li liYou believe in cross-functional teams and know that responsibility does not end with deployment. /li liFluent English communication skills. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 ul liIndividuals representing diverse profiles, and abilities, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
