Department and Project description

The Client Management department plays a pivotal role in helping organizations achieve their energy and sustainability goals. The mission is to maintain and grow an international client portfolio, ensuring that contracted services are delivered on time and meet Key Performance Indicators, while identifying additional client needs and facilitating sound solutions. The team provides comprehensive services spanning energy efficiency, renewable sourcing, carbon accounting, and supply chain decarbonization.

As a member of the Client Management team, your role is both strategic and relationship‑driven. You act as the primary point of contact for clients, helping them navigate complex energy and sustainability challenges and leveraging Schneider’s solutions effectively.

- Strategic Account Management: serve as the trusted advisor and main liaison between Schneider and the client, analyzing sustainability ambitions, climate risks, and energy needs, and aligning Schneider’s offerings with client objectives.
- Project Oversight & Coordination: coordinate with internal experts in energy procurement, efficiency and sustainability to deliver integrated solutions, monitor KPIs, timelines, and deliverables, and validate client‑facing outputs meet Schneider’s standards.
- Communication & Reporting: host meetings, workshops, and quarterly business reviews with clients,



translating complex energy and sustainability data into actionable insight.
- Business Development & Upselling: spot gaps or emerging needs in the client’s roadmap and introduce Schneider’s digital tools, advisory services, or renewable procurement options while working closely with business development teams.

What will you learn?

- Deep expertise in Energy Procurement and Management services.
- Strategic sourcing and competitive bidding among energy suppliers.
- Risk management, guiding clients through procurement decisions while managing exposure to price volatility.
- Data management, energy budgets and reporting, delivering concise reports for leadership.
- Expertise in Sustainability & Decarbonization (strategy, implementation, and reporting).
- Carbon accounting and ESG frameworks, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and reporting standards such as CDP, SBTi, TCFD.
- Climate strategy development for science‑based targets, supply‑chain decarbonization, and renewable energy transition.
- Strategic client engagement and business acumen.
- Account ownership and executive‑level communication, including engagement with C‑suite stakeholders.




- Commercial strategy and consultative selling to identify upselling opportunities.
- Soft skills and personal growth, such as problem‑solving under pressure.
- General mindset, working with multinational clients and colleagues.
- Project management experience across geographies and business units.

Are you who we are looking for?

- Graduate or master’s student in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Data and digital fluency, ability to interpret data, use dashboards, and translate insights into action.
- Outgoing personality and desire to learn.
- Availability of 4 to 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with mornings available.
- Capable of entering into an internship agreement with university or study center for at least 6 months.
- Available to start in October.
- High English proficiency.
- Preferably based in Zaragoza, Madrid, or Barcelona.
